Party Bullies not welcome here...

The Children's Party Network is a totally unique and exciting neighborhood. We connect party professionals, people who want to be professionals, event gurus, partyware designers, bakers, florists, caterers, candy people, photographers, artists, funny people, smart people, vintage loving people, clowns and a whole lot of amazing party planning moms. This is a happy little place to share our creativity, talents and dreams.

We love kids. We love parties. We love other people who love kids and parties. What we do not love and will not tolerate in our CPN family are Party Bullies.

I made up the term "Party Bully" to describe some disturbing behavior of others in the party world who just do not understand how to be a decent human being and play nice. Yes, it is true, there are Party Bullies all around us, but they are not welcome here. Period.

Party Bully behavior includes:
Nasty comments or posts directed towards other CPN members
Belittling another member in any way shape or form
Contacting another member and trying to make them feel inferior
Contacting another member to try to bully them into closing up shop
Egomania
Being non-supportive of anyone other than themselves
Stealing original ideas of another member and declaring they are your own
Using photographs of another member without asking for permission first


If you are being Party Bullied in any manner or see this happening anywhere on our site, please let us know immediately. We take these matters very seriously.

The CPN is a spectacular forum to connect with crazy, party obsessed people like ourselves. We all have a shared love of kids and parties and we are over the moon that this network has been received with such enthusiasm..The positive and supportive vibe is what makes this neighborhood such a fabulous place to be:)

Agreed Ebony...We all have to play nice by RESPECTING others businesses, not stealing ideas {including business practices, pricing, designs, etc}. Personally, I think that this should be filed under Kristy's "Stealing original ideas of another member and declaring they are your own".

I think this is great!!!!! I do want to add though after I joined this group AND another group (for stationery only) I believe that I was shopped from fellow party gals or stationers.  I can't prove it but there was some things that made me scratch my head a couple of times.  So I would only add... don't shop people on this site. It's wrong. If you have a question, ask it here.  What if I acted like a bride and contacted several wedding planners, get their ideas, paperwork and all that then started my company. That's NOT cool.  I can party nice and not be a bully but I expect my fellow colleagues to respect my business and the time that I put into it.  :)

Thanks so much for this!  Sad that it needed to be said yes, but it SO needed to be said!   Love being a part of a group of so many different talents and ideas.  There is room for everyone!

PS, if you need to protect ur unique product from all this crazy, apply for a patent. I have a patent pending on my Kandy Kones for this exact reason! Cuz ppl can totally SUCK! Rock On Kristy! I had to laugh at Jackies comment about taking it back to the 5th grade. Don't mess with us or our party peeps! We are here to build one another up, there isn't any room for bullies!
